Therese was born in 1959 in Llanelli, West Wales, UK and has been painting for about 15 years. 

She was selected for 'Welsh Artist of the Year' and invited to represent 'The Countryside Council for Wales'  in an exhibition in 'The Royal Welsh Show' and 'The Eisteddfod'.
She exhibits in galleries and solo exhibitions, and at The Royal Welsh Show.

Therese also featured in an article in Artist's and Illustrator's magazine. She is also a member of the Naive School of Artists. 

Most of her work reflects people and places for which she has empathy. Her work has been called a half-way house between life and impression.
